Financial Peace University is a biblically-based, video-driven small group study that teaches families to beat debt, build wealth and give like never before.
This program is for you if:
- Your credit cards ARE your emergency fund
- Your dog responds to the name “Ebay”
- You want to know what God says about money
- You have to sell your house to put your kids through college
- Stocks, Bonds and Mutual Funds are friends you haven’t met yet
This 13 week course begins on August 23rd, 5:30 to 7:30

Liberty Christian Church
School Supplies (K-5th)
The church collects school supplies for K through 5th grade students to be distributed in August and September. The youth group holds a Bike-a-Thon fundraiser in August to raise money to buy supplies including bookbags and lunchboxes. You can reach the church at 746-8412.

Meals on Wheels
Their goal is to provide balanced, nutritious and appealing meals to seniors, people with disabilities and disadvantaged populations. They strive to improve the physical and mental health of those served by providing, either directly or through cooperation with other organizations, a range of goods and services that improve quality of life. Shady Grove serves as the distribution site only so if you are interested in volunteering, please contact Jeannie Garris, Field Operations Manager for Meals on Wheels, at 673-5035.

Stephen Ministry
A Stephen Minister is a a lay person who has received 50 hours of training in how to provide distinctively Christian care who walks beside a hurting person. They are a caring Christian friend who really listens. They are here to help meet the needs of individuals who are hospitalized, terminally ill, bereaved, in a job crisis, new members of the church, disabled, homebound, lonely, in spiritual crisis, and looking for a caring, Christian friend. This group is for cancer survivors, current cancer sufferers, family members and loved ones of those who have or have had cancer.
