Celebrate Recovery

The purpose of New Song United Methodist Church’s “Celebrate Recovery” is to fellowship and celebrate God’s healing power in our lives through the 12 Steps and 8 Recovery Principles. This experience allows us to “be changed.” We open the door by sharing our experiences, strengths and hopes with one another. In addition, we become willing to accept God’s grace in solving our lives’ problems. Childcare is provided. Donations for dinner and childcare are appreciated.

New Song United Methodist Church is located at 7450 Colt’s Neck Rd, Mechanicsville, VA 23111.
We will meet every Friday at 6:00pm (dinner), followed by the Large Group Gathering (7:00 pm), Small Groups (8:00pm), and then a café/dessert time (9:00pm). Weekend to Remember Marriage Getaway

FamilyLife’s Weekend to Remember Getaway is a chance to get away from the distractions of daily life, slow down, and reconnect with your spouse. Each conference is a warm, engaging gathering that’s all about making progress, not placing blame. Their insightful speakers will help you work through your differences, improve communication and even rekindle your romance.
This year the local marriage getaway will be held in Richmond on December 10 – 12 and in Williamsburg on November 19 – 21. If you are interested in getting a group together or want more information about the conference please contact Ross or Sandy Miller at 789-1078.

Good News Café
Enjoy food, fellowship, and music in a casual setting. “Open Mic” — come to play & sing.  Last Friday of every month at 7pm.

Tuesday Morning Worship
For those of you who work on weekends or cannot attend church on
Sunday mornings Trinity Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) now has
a Tuesday morning worship service including Holy Communion.  Services
are held at 8:00 am at 8469 Atlee Road.  If you have any questions
call 746-4838.
